Scheduling Your APICS Exam

APICS offers computer-based testing (CBT) for all exams. All appointments must be made at least 48 hours before the desired test date. A candidate may make an appointment as much as 60 days in advance of the test date. Testing time are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Some periods of the year may be heavily booked. Call to schedule your appointment well in advance of the date you wish to take the exam. Or if you prefer you can also register online. Either way you are the only one who can schedule the exam so create a deadline for yourself and schedule the exam as close to the sixty day point as possible.

Exams for all 5 modules in CPIM are offered daily with some weekend and evening hours. Before you register to take your CPIM exams, please purchase and review a CPIM Exam Content Manual. This manual provides a detailed outline, list of terms, concepts, references, practice questions, and similar information on all modules. Take exit 8A for Tasman Dr toward Great Mall Pkwy. Turn right at Tasman Dr (signs for Tasman Dr). Turn left at McCarthy Blvd

FROM I-280 N
Take the I-880 exit toward Oakland. Keep left at the fork to continue toward I-880 N. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Oakland and merge onto I-880 N. Take exit 7 to merge onto W Montague Expy. Turn right at McCarthy Blvd. Make a U-turn at Sycamore Dr

FROM I-280 S
Take the CA-101/US-101 exit toward San Fran Keep left at the fork to continue toward US-101 S and merge onto US-101 S Cisco/San Jose. Take the exit onto CA-237 E toward Milpitas/Alviso Take the McCarthy Blvd exit. Turn right at McCarthy Blvd (signs for Tasman Dr/Great Mall Pkwy).

DIRECTIONS:

FROM OAKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (FROM THE SOUTH):
Take I-880 North to Broadway exit in downtown Oakland. Make a right turn onto Broadway at the first light. Make a right turn onto 11th Street.

FROM CONTRA COSTA COUNTY (FROM THE EAST):
Take CA-24W through the Caldecott Tunnel. Take I-980 W (Downtown Oakland). Take the 11th St. Exit. Turn left on 11th Street. Cross Broadway.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO:
Take the I-80E ramp towards BAY BRIDGE/OAKLAND. Merge onto I-80E. Take the I-580 S exit towards Downtown Oakland. Merge onto 980. Exit 11th St. Turn left onto 11th Street. Cross Broadway.

BART:
Exit the Oakland City Center/12th Street station using the Broadway/11th Street South Exit. Proceed on Broadway to 11th Street.

PARKING:
Available at the Aamco parking facility on 11th St. between Broadway and Franklin from 7am-7pm. You can also use street parking (max 2hr meter), or other public lots at City Centre parking (entrance on 11th Street between Clay Street and Broadway) or the parking structure on 11th St. between Franklin and Harrison St.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR YOUR EXAM:

1. Obtain your APICS Customer Number

   If you are already an APICS member, your membership number is your APICS customer number. If you just joined APICS, please wait until you receive your membership card in the mail before calling to schedule an exam to ensure the number has been processed and transferred to Pearson VUE testing centers.

   If you are not an APICS member and have never dealt with APICS, call APICS customer service to have a customer number assigned to you. Please allow one week before you call to schedule an exam appointment to ensure your customer number is on file at Pearson VUE testing centers.

   Your customer number stays with you throughout the certification process. Please keep it on file and use it whenever you register for exams or order materials.

2. Schedule the Exam

   Call Pearson VUE customer care at 800-274-8399. Or register online by accessing the Pearson VUE Website and follow the directions to online registration.

3. Have the following information ready when you call Pearson VUE

   Your APICS customer number Your method of payment - Credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express, or Discover)
   Please note: credit cards will be charged the day of registration - not exam date Current APICS voucher
   Guaranteed form of payment to be remitted onsite: money order or certified check.

   Your choices: Name of the exam , Date of the exam, Location of the testing center.

   Your Location: Mailing address, Fax number, E-mail address.

4. Check your confirmation card/receipt when it arrives

   Pearson VUE customer care will provide a confirmation card /receipt via fax or e-mail within 48 hours of registration. If you would like your card/receipt via mail, please inform the Pearson VUE customer care representative. If any information on the confirmation card/receipt is incorrect, call Pearson VUE customer care immediately. The confirmation card is your receipt for payment. Keep it in a safe place.

Register for the APICS CSCP Paper and Pencil Exam

NOTE:The APICS CSCP exam is now available via computer-based testing (CBT) as well as in paper and pencil format. If you register for the paper and pencil version of the CSCP exam, you will NOT have the opportunity to switch to the CBT version of the exam.

Once your eligibility application is approved, you may register for the exam by completing the registration form included in the APICS CSCP registration bulletin.

After registering for the CSCP exam, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from APICS within 10 days. There will be a follow up confirmation, with exam site information two weeks prior to the exam.
