Membership

Experience membership in the APICS Community. APICS education and training tools offer members the opportunity to shape the direction of their future. Join APICS to begin benefiting from enhanced skills and career mobility achieved through APICS Certification programs and networking opportunities. Our nearly 60,000 members are resource management professionals from 20,000 manufacturing and service companies around the world. APICS members are individuals responsible for directing the supply chain, materials management, information services, purchasing, customer service, and quality control within their companies.

To address the specific needs of each member, APICS offers four classes of membership. Select the membership package that is best suited to the professional and educational goals of you and your company.

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership entitles a company to designate five employees as its representatives to receive APICS mailings. ALL employees at the same corporate location receive member prices for all society services. Mailing addresses vary only by mail station or mail drop. Mailings are not allowed to be sent home and membership stays with the company. In other words, if a member of APICS with a corporate membership leaves the company, that person no longer has APICS membership. Please contact our office for current Corporate Membership prices.
Note: Some chapters offer full chapter benefits only to the five designated employee members.

Individual Membership

Each person holds his or her own membership and is entitled to full member privileges. Membership stays with the individual. In other words, the individual owns the membership even if the company paid for it. The current Individual Member is $200 per year($50 is for Santa Clara APICS, and $150 is for Headquarters, for a total of $200) .

Student Membership

This membership is available to students pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university and engaged in the study of resource management or related fields. Note: Students receive a reduced membership rate of $25.

Retired Membership

Individuals who have reached the age of 62, retired from formal employment, and have been APICS chapter members for a minimum of five years are eligible for this membership classification upon approval by Santa Clara APICS. Retired members receive the monthly magazine, discounts on programs and materials, and 50% off society dues. Please contact our office for current Retired Corporate Membership prices.
